Welcome to

St. John’s Jesuit High School and Academy

St. John’s Jesuit High School is a Catholic, Jesuit, college-preparatory school for young men. It strives to form leaders who are Religious, Loving, Seeking Intellectual Excellence, Committed to Justice and Open to Growth. It fulfills its mission by providing a respectful, challenging, and caring environment for a diverse community of students.

Faith The spiritual development of all students is encouraged and guided through a program of individual and group activities.  Our theology curriculum, a dynamic retreat program, expansive community service opportunities, sacramental life, and prayer groups help shape the faith experience at SJJ.

Scholarship Academic excellence is a hallmark of the SJJ experience. Faculty, staff, and administration work together to ensure that each student has an opportunity to meet his learning needs and interests. Following the Jesuit education tradition, our academic environment and liberal arts curriculum establish a foundation for future study. At the same time, an SJJ education encourages a sense of critical thought as students develop leadership skills in a classroom setting.

Community SJJ is a community of people who genuinely care for each other. The faculty, staff and administration are committed to the growth of each individual student. In part, student life opportunities are numerous due to the people who make up the school community. But the school community extends well beyond the classrooms, providing strong support from parents, alumni and friends.

SJJ "educates the whole person." This approach involves not only classroom instruction but also the spiritual, physical and social growth of each student. Each year, students preform over 20,000 hours of community service. Students are encouraged to use their gifts in pursuit of the Jesuit ideal to become Christ-like "Men for Others." Students are encouraged to broaden their experience at SJJ through participation in one or more of 60 organizations or clubs. More than 70 percent of all students participate in one or more of 13 different sports.

We welcome applications from qualified you men in the fall of each year. Our admissions team is eager to meet you, answer your questions and guide you through the application process. We look forward to hearing from you!

Thank YOU for your interest in SJJ,
