Legacy Circle
We've lived through tough economic times, which is why we formed the SJJ Legacy Circle: to help ensure that financial circumstances never again force us to shut our doors.
You see, we shut down during the Depression last century when the high school had been up and running for about 38 years.
And we didn't open again until 1965, which prompted Fr. Nicholas Gelin, S.J., to say: "Today, St. John's begins its second springtime with a planting that we pray will yield a harvest comparable to the first.
A bountiful harvest, indeed! Through the generous support of alumni, parents and friends, graduates have become leaders in Toledo and other communities around the country.
The Legacy Circle gives you a way to support the school through a planned giving arrangement, such as a bequest, trust or insurance.
While some legacy gifts are restricted for special projects, most go toward our endowment, ensuring a more stable future for our students. With a gift of $10,000 or more, a fund can be established in honor of someone, providing a lasting legacy and tribute to that person and their family.
