Titan Crew Hosts Frogtown Regatta on Maumee River

The Titans hosted the Frogtown Regatta with the rest of the Toledo rowing community on Saturday, September 24. Over 320 entries raced in Toledo on the Maumee River, including some of the toughest competition seen yet this season.

The St. John's Novice rowers raced valiantly against top-tier club teams falling just seconds short of a medaling finish. The Novice 8 B boat finished 8th out of 18 and the Novice 8 A, missed a third place finish by 0.6 seconds. The Novice 4 finished 2.5 seconds from a third place finish.

The Varsity Crew represented well. All of the boats demonstrated vast improvements from the week prior, especially the 2nd Varsity 8, which took third place - the team's only medal of the regatta.
