SJJ Academy Hosts Catholic Leadership Conference

On Thursday, May 3, St. John’s Jesuit Academy sponsored a Seventh Grade Catholic Leadership Conference.

This was the fifth year that St. John’s Jesuit hosted the conference that is designed to inspire, empower and educate young men and women in the seventh grade to become future leaders in the Catholic community. The one-day conference was free, and any Catholic student in the Toledo Diocese was invited to attend. The day included inspirational speakers and hands-on group activities.

Registration began at 9 a.m. and the day concluded shortly after 2 p.m. Lunch was provided. More than 300 students attended from area Catholic schools, including St. Pius X, Regina Coeli, St. Catherine of Siena, St. Joan of Arc, St. Patrick’s, Notre Dame Academy, Sylvania Franciscan Academy, Mary Immaculate, All Saints, and St. Joseph in Erie, Michigan.
