Graduation Day for nearly 250 Titans
St. John's Jesuit celebrated the graduations of 190 High School Seniors and 58 Academy eighth graders at separate ceremonies last month.
The SJJ community gathered together for the 45th Commencement Exercises at the Stranahan Theater on May 24, with the valedictory address given by Mark Brahier '12. President Fr. Joaquin Martinez, S.J., also offered remarks, while Fr. Thomas Doyle, S.J. led the invocation. Diplomas were conferred by Fr. Martinez, Principal Brad Bonham, and Associate Principal Spencer Root. Offering musical and choral accompaniment were the St. John's Jesuit Symphonic Band, led by Mr. Xavier Smith, and the St. John's Jesuit Men's Chorus, led by Mr. Luke Rosen.
One week later, the Academy Graduation was held in the Chapel of St. John Berchmans on May 31 with family, friends and faculty members on hand.
