Frequently Asked Questions

How are students selected for admission?

Students generally need average or above average grades, along with satisfactory placement test scores and a recommendation from current teachers to be considered. St. John's Jesuit does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, national or ethnic origin.

Is there a deadline for financial assistance?

Yes. February 28th is the priority deadline for incoming freshmen and transfer students. Requests filed after that point can be difficult to grant.

Are athletic scholarships available?

There are no scholarships given for athletic ability.

Are there any programs for minority students?

The 2020 scholarship program is a comprehensive, highly personalized opportunity targeting academically talented and economically and culturally disadvantaged youth. Toledo 2020 targets the bright and the disadvantaged youth. The program prepares students, known as Jesuit Scholars, for success in a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum. The goals beyond high school graduation will be achievement in college, and, by the year 2020, leadership in the community.
