Service

Twice a year, the entire Academy serves at various sites across northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan at locations such as the Toledo Metroparks, Toledo Grows, Bittersweet Farms, and Camp Storer.

Each grade in the Academy also undertakes a particular type of service:

 

6th Grade

•  Students volunteer every two weeks at Toledo Grows, an urban garden where our students practice active Christian Service.

 

7th Grade

•  Students volunteer every two weeks at Bittersweet Farms, working alongside autistic adults in their greenhouse.

 

8th Grade

 

• Students serve every two weeks at SunBridge Schools, working with the younger students.
